In the heart of Lagos State, where the vibrant rhythm of the city meets the resilience of its communities, Dejabys Empowerment Initiative emerged as a beacon to provide hope and sustenance. Established in [Year], DEI was born out of a shared commitment to address the pressing issue of food insecurity within the dynamic neighborhood’s of Lagos.
Our sojourn within the communities in the Covid-19 pandemic period revealed the harsh realities of individuals and families living without basic sustenance not only within the period but also prior to the pandemic. This is one of the reasons why post-pandemic, DEI continues to provide basic sustenance within communities in a bid to alleviate hunger within communities
Looking Ahead
As Dejabys Empowerment Initiative continues to evolve, it remains steadfast in its commitment to nourishing communities and empowering lives. Through more collaborations and partnerships, DEI hopes to extend and increase its footprints across the nation. To support achieving this nationwide aspiration, DEI is partnering with bakeries, with state-of-the-art equipment, across the country who can deliver the same quality of bread

The initiative embarked on a mission to regularly donate over 1000 loaves of bread every week to communities across Lagos.
